Jonas Olsson

One of the driving forces in my metal and forging work has always been to master the material and get it to do exactly as I want. I have started to work with the movement in the material, where the material and I are working either together or against one another. This method and technique makes the material take form in a recalcitrant way. For me, it feels liberating to not be constantly consumed by the thought of having full control.
